This all-volunteer community/university orchestra is in its 31st year of bringing masterworks and great soloists to the Syracuse community. The concert will feature Slaughter on Tenth Avenue by Richard Rogers, Grand Canyon Suite by Ferde Grofé, and The Cowboys by John Williams. The performance will be under the direction of James R. Tapia, associate professor of music in the Setnor School of Music.

Summer Festival Orchestra is sponsored by University College. Any and all experienced orchestral musicians in the Syracuse area are encouraged to participate.
