Have you ever wondered how to create highly professional and visually appealing interactive user interfaces for your Simulink models?  In this webinar you’ll learn how to develop a user interface for Simulink® using Altia® Design®. The webinar combines the two powerful tools into a single work flow—from simulation to graphics. Through an example, jointly given by engineers from MathWorks and Altia, learn how to:

Construct a simple Simulink model and a simple Altia Design user interface

Connect a Simulink model to an Altia Design user interface

Run an interactive simulation using Altia Design which controls the Simulink model

A Q&A session will follow the joint presentation.

About the Presenters:

Shaun Kalinowski, MathWorks

Shaun joined the MathWorks as a Production Code Generation Applications Engineer in March 2008.  Prior to joining the MathWorks, Shaun spent 2.5 years working for Motorola developing prototype RF transmitters for WCDMA cell phones, and 7 years at Visteon developing RF embedded DSP systems for automotive radio receivers. Shaun received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Brian Stewart, Altia

Brian currently serves as Senior HMI Developer doing GUI design and development, as well as providing training and consulting for Altia’s domestic and international customers. After graduating in 2003 from Colorado State University – Pueblo with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Brian co-founded a web application development company called Dot Pitch Studios, then later joined Altia in 2004.
